Four connected, browser-only calculators inspired by the financial-statement and CASHFLOW Quadrant concepts. Amounts are AUD. Change any value to recalculate immediately. These are simple educational illustrations, not tax estimates or recommendations.
1. Monthly personal cash flow
Monthly cash surplus:
How to calculate: surplus = employment income + other income − living costs − debt repayments. Savings rate = surplus ÷ cash inflows × 100. Debt repayments include principal and interest, so do not count them twice.
2. Personal net worth
Estimated net worth:
How to calculate: add all asset values, then subtract the outstanding loan balances. Super is included in wealth but generally is not accessible immediately. These values are estimates, not valuations.
3. Expense coverage
Recurring expenses covered:
How to calculate: (net recurring asset income ÷ expenses) × 100. This does not predict financial independence or account for capital gains, volatility, unexpected costs or taxes not already deducted.
4. CASHFLOW income quadrants
How to calculate: quadrant percentage = income from one quadrant ÷ sum of all four quadrants × 100. Classify after relevant direct costs on a consistent basis. Figures do not represent tax law categories.
